Getting started

Open Cloud and create an account or sign in with your email and password. If email confirmation is required, follow the link sent to your inbox. Your first sign-in creates a Personal workspace.

Open Settings to connect the provider login you want to use. Return to the start page, choose a workspace, write a task, and send it to start a thread. Hosted work runs on a Cloud computer. Threads keep their conversation and let you read the agent's work in the browser.

Cloud also shows linked terminal conversations. The terminal must remain connected for work running on that machine.

Install the CLI, then run this inside SuperShell:

text
/cloud

You can also start linking directly from your shell:

sh
supershell cloud

With /cloud, choose Link this machine to get a short code and a link. The shell command starts that flow directly. Open Cloud's Settings → Terminals, enter the code, choose Continue, check the device, and choose Link it. Codes expire after ten minutes. You can unlink the terminal from Settings.

Linking shows the differences between local and Cloud configuration. Syncing is explicit:

sh
supershell cloud push
supershell cloud pull

push sends local instructions, skills, agents, and supported MCP tools to Cloud. pull brings back instructions, skills, and agents; it does not import MCP tools. Review which direction you want before running either command.

Inside a conversation, /remote lets you share it with Cloud or continue it there.

Workspaces

Workspaces group threads and their configuration. Use the workspace controls to create or select one. In Settings, choose a workspace to manage its instructions, skills, tools, and agents.

A workspace can connect to a GitHub repository. GitHub's installation screen lets you choose repository access. Check the selected repositories before confirming. Provider credentials and GitHub access are managed in Settings.

Automations

Open Automations to create a task that runs on a schedule. Choose the workspace, task, runtime, and schedule. Review the next run times before saving and enabling it.

Enabled automations start work without a new message from you at each scheduled time. Their runs create threads you can open to inspect the work. Pause an automation when you want scheduled runs to stop. Agent work may use your provider account and act with the tools available to the workspace.

Settings

Settings holds provider logins, GitHub connections, terminal links, and workspace configuration. New threads sets defaults for new work. Changes to defaults do not rewrite earlier conversations.

Appearance and theme

Open Settings → Appearance and choose System, Light, or Dark. System follows your device's color preference. An explicit choice is saved in the theme cookie and shared between the public site and Cloud in the same browser on supershell.ai.
